Therapy that honors your story and builds your strength.

I believe that behind every "disruptive" behavior, every "selective" silence, or every overwhelming "what-if" loop is a person trying their best to navigate a world that feels a bit too loud. My name is Swasthi, and I help individuals, families, teens, and young adults find their way back to a sense of calm and control.

A Lens That Sees the Whole You As an immigrant from Fiji, I understand that we don't live in a vacuum. Our mental health is deeply tied to our identity, our family's "unspoken rules," and the cultural expectations we carry. I’m fluent in English and Hindi, and I am passionate about offering care that respects your lived experience and honors where you come from.

Expertise Wrapped in Empathy With over a decade of experience—from pediatric clinics and schools to crisis stabilization—I’ve been in the trenches with families during their hardest moments. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, OCD, interpersonal challenges, acculturation issues, grief and self-esteem.

I’m not a "one-size-fits-all" therapist. Our work is a partnership where we balance high-level science with deep emotional safety. I use a specific toolkit tailored to your needs:

  • For OCD & Anxiety: We use ERP (Exposure & Response Prevention) to unstick the brain and break the cycle of fear.

  • For Parents: I use SPACE coaching to help you move from "walking on eggshells" to feeling like a confident coach for your child.

  • For Teens & Young Adults: We lean into DBT, CBT, ACT and EMDR to build a toolkit for emotional waves and clear out the impact of past "heavy" experiences.

What It’s Like to Work With Me Clients often describe me as steady and easy to talk to. Whether we meet in my cozy Petaluma office or virtually across California, my goal is the same: to move at a pace that feels safe for you. We will work to strengthen your communication, quiet the noise of overthinking, and help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

Outside of the Therapy Room When I’m not working, I love spending time in my garden, cooking something cozy, or relaxing with a good show or movie. I’m happiest outdoors—going to the beach, hiking, or setting up an easy picnic with friends. I also enjoy crocheting, reading, and checking out new restaurants around the area. Most days are made better by time with my two border collies, Jack and Mina, who keep things fun and full of movement.

Check your insurance.

I am an out-of-network provider. If you decide to work with me, I recommend contacting your insurance provider to inquire about the reimbursement rate for out-of-network services. Superbills will be automatically emailed to you on the first of each month for your convenience.
